How do you measure the HEAT?
A common method to measure the "heat" or pungency of hot peppers is a scale called the Scoville Unit Scale. Some varieties of tomatoes have been bred and hybridized for their natural resistance to a variety of pathogens that can plague a tomato crop. The disease resistance identification codes shown below can found at the beginning of the product descriptions in parenthesis.
